YOU’RE INVITED
Please join us at the Ozark Heritage Welcome Center as we dedicate our beautiful sculpture completed earlier this year by Jason Morton of Eagle Ridge Chainsaw Carvings. The sculpture is inspired by the guitar designed by Greg Rich and featured on the cover of Porter’s 53rd and final studio album, “Wagonmaster,” released June 5, 2007.
Other activities for the day include:
• Live music by Dennis “Haxaw” Bottoms (who played with Porter Wagoner) at 11:30 a.m.
• South Fork Lunch Box will be at the welcome center
serving breakfast and lunch from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Chainsaw artist Jason Morton will on site working on another sculpture at the Welcome Center from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• “Porter Wagoner Trail,” listing sites in town connected to Porter, will be available as a new activity.
