The Water Distribution Department takes care of making sure clean water arrives to you safely. Currently, West Plains has 6 water towers stationed across the city that feeds into over 165 miles of water lines and 5800 water taps that feed directly into the homes and businesses of West Plains.
The department maintains and repairs the water lines and taps as needed to ensure the citizens of West Plains have access to clean water. In order to do this effectively, the crews are on call 24/7 for emergencies.
