WEST PLAINS, MO – The City of West Plains Electric Department has announced a planned power outage scheduled for Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 5:00 a.m. This outage will allow crews to perform necessary substation upgrades. The power outage is expected to last approximately 20 minutes.
The following areas will be impacted by the outage:
- Minnesota Avenue to Broadway
- All numbered streets
- Porter Wagoner Boulevard, from Gibson Avenue to Burgoyne Street
- Independence Drive, from Porter Wagoner Boulevard to Concord Road
- Gibson Avenue, from US 63 to Missouri Avenue
- All of Missouri Avenue
