The City of West Plains Charter Review Commission held its first meeting this week, officially beginning its work to review the city charter and consider potential recommendations for the future.
The commission is made up of 12 West Plains residents who have volunteered their time to serve their community:

The city charter serves as the framework for how our city government operates. Periodic reviews help ensure that framework continues to meet the needs of our community.
We want to thank each member of the Charter Review Commission for their willingness to serve, their commitment to West Plains and for giving their time to help shape our community’s future.
The commission will continue meeting over the coming months as it works through the review process.
